Van Aken Signature offers custom designed and tailored uniforms for hospitality companies. Our fashion forward garments are exclusively designed to complement the style of the establishment. Designer Sarah Van Aken personally consults with each client. Sarah’s labels—Van Aken custom shirts and her women’s collection, SA VA—have already garnered national recognition.

Our full service uniform program starts with an extensive design and utility consultation. We provide a detailed concept and presentation of samples before finalizing specifications of each garment. Our production specialists source fabrics from the finest mills around the world. Garments are custom made in our own factories. The custom fabrics of each client are kept in stock. In addition, we send inventory reminders to all of our clients for quick re-order.

Van Aken Signature is aware of the excessive wear and tear garments endure throughout their life. We source the finest, most durable textiles available to create our products. Each piece features high stitch-count and French seams when possible, to ensure exceptional fit and life of the garment.

The Company

Van Aken Signature was established in 2007 as a division of S.V.A. Holdings Corporation, a vertically integrated private label apparel company. The owner, Sarah Van Aken, got her start in the fashion industry sourcing and producing garments for major fashion retailers. She left the industry for a few years and managed a group of restaurants in Philadelphia. Upon returning to the garment business by launching her first brand, Van Aken custom dress shirts, she quickly realized the need for custom hospitality uniforms and knew that her expertise in both areas could help hospitality companies.

Since launching Van Aken Signature, the company has grown to include Sarah Van Aken’s women’s brand SA VA, and V.A. Private Label which offers private label garment design and manufacturing.
